Hi, my name is Cowboy Luke and I am writing this blog to share my life and unusual experiences while living with my partner on our twenty-six acre cattle ranch outside Orlando, Florida. In addition to ranching and rodeo, I have also worked in Public Safety my entire life and you will find some of my blogs relate to Law Enforcement, Fire Rescue & EMS, and 911 emergency communications.

This is my first attempt at blogging and I launched this site on the eve of my 50th birthday and here we are, almost a year later.

This month, I will start posting to a new section of my blog called “The Nine Lives Project”.  Those pages will detail the eight (or more) times that I have nearly lost my life.  My doctor recently told me to be careful, noting that I only had one of my nine lives left.

My most recent post is about the loss of one of our horses to colic a few weeks ago.
