We've been waiting a long time to bring
CowCam online. The technology has finally caught up with
getting this project up and running. We've installed four
cameras around the property to show various areas of the Ranch in
real time.
Here's some information about the cameras that you
should know:
The cameras only show images during daylight hours.
The cameras are online night and day, but they're daylight only
cameras.
Because the Ranch uses a satellite internet connection, the
cameras are also subject to internet connectivity issues related
to weather. If the cameras aren't working please visit
again later in the day.
You will be prompted to install the CowCam ActiveX Viewer
when you try to view one of the cameras for the first time.
Click on the camera name link, or the camera picture link to view
the CowCam's.
Enjoy!
Bessie, the
Lake Douglas Ranch Quality Assurance Cow
This camera shows the front
yard of the house, and middle pasture where the pond is
located. The main driveway is visible on the
left hand corner of the picture.
This camera shows the stalls of the barn.
This is where we feed the horses every morning. You'll
occasionally see the horses or the cows in here getting out
of the noon day sun, or one of the frequent summer
thunderstorms.
